Carlos Aleman is an Licensed Mental Health Associate counselor with a Master’s degree in Education with a specialty in Counseling Psychology. Carlos attained his terminal Master’s degree in 2020 while participating in his Counseling Psychology Doctoral Program at Texas A&M University.

Carlos sees his clients in-person at the Main Office and via telehealth. Carlos is bilingual and effective at offering mental health services in both Spanish and English.

Carlos works with adolescents, adults, and older adults.

By the end of your treatment you should be able to navigate life with a coping toolbox to overcome your problems, as well as a razor sharp intuition that guides your authenticity, and the discernment to not fall back into negative cycles.

I tailor my approach to your goals and treatment needs. I am an eclectic therapist that utilizes techniques that include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Relational Cultural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Jungian Therapy.

I am a humanitarian and happy to assist all diverse groups in the community that are age 13 and above. As a first-generation Latino immigrant, I take pride in offering culturally competent bilingual, and bicultural services to the Latinx community as a specialty. I believe we each journey through life looking for answers often already within us. Being able to maintain a regulated nervous system, healthy relationships, and feeling rooted in who you genuinely are is essential for authentically approaching the path of life.

Como inmigrante Latino de primera generación, me enorgullece ofrecer servicios bilingües y biculturales culturalmente competentes a la comunidad latina como una especialidad. I help to treat Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Grief & Loss, Anger Management, Immigration, Racial Identity, Divorce, Life Coaching, Self Esteem, Stress, Neurodivergent and Spanish speaking populations, Spirituality and Mysticism.

Education, Specialized Training and Experience

I have worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health, telehealth institute, and integrated behavioral health practices. I have worked in integrated behavioral health settings alongside primary care doctors, psychiatrists, and social workers for the past four years which has prepared me to be a great mental health counselor with regards to whole person care.

Carlos successfully completed his Doctoral Internship at Columbia Valley Community Health in Wenatchee, Washington in 2024. Carlos is hoping to finish his doctoral degree in the future, but has shifted his focus towards building his private practice at this time. Carlos is bilingual and effective at offering mental health services in both Spanish and English.
