Anxiety and Depression Therapy for Teens
Teenagers have an intense amount of changes happening to them beginning at age 11(ish). The prevalence of anxiety and/or depression during this time is high. But, the success rate of counseling or therapy for the adolescent is also high. Our therapists are experts in listening, validating feelings, and then building the person’s skill level. As the skill level increases, a sense of control of the teen’s feelings emerges.
You may notice low feelings, minimal facial expression, worry in areas not typical, and easily irritated. These symptoms could be anxiety and depression. If it is impacting their functioning at school, home, work or on trips click the Make An Appointment button to get started.
